Lisa Allred is an international instructor and performer specializing in group improvisation as a structured, responsive language. Based in the United States, she teaches at festivals, studios, and special events internationally, offering workshops that balance technical clarity with creative freedom.
Lisa is best known for co-creating a Basket dialect for FCBD, which she teaches internationally and offers through a structured certification program. Her work emphasizes musicality, nonverbal communication, and leadership within group performance, supporting dancers and teachers in developing confident, cohesive improvisation.
In addition to Baskets, Lisa offers workshops in FCBD® with Veil, LED fans, and fire, as well as fusion-based group improvisation. She is also available for fire, LED, and group performances, allowing festivals and events to create integrated workshop and performance experiences.
A licensed psychotherapist, Lisa brings insight into the psychology of dance, leadership, and creative process, offering workshops that explore stage presence, motivation, troupe dynamics, and sustainable artistic growth.
