Introducing…
FCBD with Baskets Certification
Want to incorporate the beautiful basket into your performances, adding texture, color, and interest to your group improvisation? Would you like to feel confident teaching the basket as a prop to your students? Would you like to be able to dance and perform with dancers all over the world using the most established basket vocabulary in the FCBD community?
I have designed this basket certification just for you. After teaching this basket dialect to dancers all over the world and listening to their interests, I have customized a program of study that will support the integration of the basket prop into your performances and classroom.
Thanks and Gratitude to Dawn Ruckert and the members of Dayanisma. Dawn worked tirelessly for a decade to create and polish this basket dialect. Before her retirement, I supported and assisted her in creating, teaching, and sharing this dialect. The other members of Dayanisma also helped fine-tune and perfect it through rehearsal and performance. When Dawn retired, I agreed to continue teaching this beautiful prop. In acknowledgment of her creation, a portion of everything I earn teaching FCBD with Baskets goes to Dawn!

Note about Testing: You do not need to be in a costume and I am not looking for perfection. I am also not interested in whether you can perfectly mimic my movements! I just want to see that you have taken the training and applied it to your dance (and/or teaching)!
